Hello! I am running for the position of Whitman County Superior Court Judge, to replace current Judge Gary Libey, who is retiring at the end of 2024. I am honored to be endorsed by Judge Libey, and his predecessor David Frazier. I am also endorsed by Whitman County Prosecutor Denis Tracy, and Whitman County Sheriff Brett Myers. More endorsements can be found here. I have strong bipartisan support.
For over 14 years, I have presided over cases as a judicial officer. I am acutely aware that each case is often the most important matter in a person's life, and I treat it accordingly by being prepared, patient, and respectful. I am a good listener, and ensure that I fully understand all issues before making a thoughtful decision. I decide each case with fairness, impartiality, and common sense, ensuring that each litigant is treated with dignity.
I have handled thousands of cases as an attorney, with substantial experience in criminal law, and family law. I’ve navigated the complexities of both felony and misdemeanor criminal matters, representing clients in numerous jury trials. Whether serving as a court-appointed attorney or in private practice, I’ve tackled a wide array of civil issues—ranging from family law and guardianship to probate, landlord-tenant, and civil litigation. Additionally, my expertise extends to federal and state court appeals, administrative law, WSU student conduct hearings, employment law, personal injury cases, real estate transactions, real estate disputes, and adoptions. With the broadest range of experience and the most meaningful endorsements, I stand out among the candidates competing for this position.
I appreciate your interest, and would love to have your support!
